Supporters, Sponsors and Benefactors

The Trust has been exceptionally fortunate since its establishment to receive assistance from many individuals, families, groups, businesses, philanthropic organizations and all levels of government. Government sources such as Natural England and the European Union; as well as the Dulverton Trust, the Deceased Estate of Bryan William Hall, Bill and Deb Jordan, Porter & Makins Ltd, The Conservation Shop Ltd, Jordans Cereals, Bill and Fran Makins and Tim and Gwyneth Nevard, who have all contributed either financially or in kind to the establishment of the Pensthorpe Conservation Centre.

Jordans Cereals, with support from the Jordans Family and the Dulverton Trust, plus many other individuals associated with the PCT, have contributed towards the establishment of ongoing conservation projects, such as the River Wensum Initiative (a joint initiative of the PCT, the Hawk & Owl Trust, the Wensum Valley Birdwatching Society, the Norfolk Ornithologists' Association and the Wensum Valley Project); the Great Crane Project (a joint initiative of the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds, the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust and the PCT); and the Nene Washes Corncrake Project (a joint initiative of the RSPB, Natural England, the Zoological Society of London and the PCT).

The PCT also benefits from operational funding and resources on an ongoing basis from Jordans Cereals, Porter & Makins Ltd and the Conservation Shop Ltd, as well as from individual visitors and supporters.
